OK so I used some synthetic grease for the gears and clear coat painted the circuit board and the end of the motor, and then siliconed around it. I was playing in a puddle. It worked after that, then it just stopped even powering on. I took the connector apart and attached the power and ground to my battery(2s lipo) at 8.4 volts and it did nothing. I think I fried it, just a little feedback would be good. Thanks for looking.
 
It sounds like you fried it, water has a tendency to find it's way into places you don't want it. Open up the case and put it in a bag or container of rice, to try and get any water out, but if that doesn't work you may have to send it in to hitec and cough up some money for a warranty return. Sometimes it sucks to find out how waterproofing job didn't work out;-)
