looks like axial is setting up a nice course this year

its on NOW ! but the fun dosent start till next week

there seems to be some kinda short course track with huge holes and piles of rock in the middle of hammer town surrounded by a fence its not big enuff for full sized rigs looks alittle small for dirtbikes too maybe a powerwheels track maybe lol
looks like a rc rock racing track to me lol

the start of the race on sunday was brutal its hard enuff just to walk upthat hill letalone ride or drive up it
and that was just the start i couldent imagine 5 hours of that

but all the trails outhere are brutal thats why they call it the hammers
even the sand trails have 3ft woops i cant tell you how many blown shocks and struts ive blown out efin around on the trails

I went to a couple KOTH. One year there was a brutal wind/dust storm on Saturday or Sunday. Couldnt see more than a couple feet in front of you.

I'd guess that is the kids 170 course.

i can top that i woke up to a blizzard this morning almost 2" flakes


maybe blizzard is to strong of a word but at 1 point i couldent see the other side of the property

Ferp you woke up to the snow but I bet lower in elevation it’s pretty mucky on their flat ground. That would make for some interesting racing… wish I was a bit closer they are definitely fun To watch! Much like burning man and Coachella there is usually wind and nasty sandstorms that whip up.

the race goes past my house so if i have snow the race course got it too they got the same if not more snow than i did on the lake bed since im on the weather shadow of big bear mountain

I've seen several pictures of the trails pretty covered. Chocolate thunder was all white and it was snowing on backdoor. Who knows what it'll look like in a few days. Snow race will be wild.

it melted pretty quickly but there might be some hangin around might even get another storm

a snow race would be awsome
