Got som stuff on the way from the US.
I will try to keep my upgrades posted.

Over and out for now.

I did the same thing the first day I got it! Once I put the battery up front it made a good bit of difference!

Yea think it going to be fun.
Did some upgrades yesterday. Soldering some contacts, switched to 45t used tekkin engine, alu knuckles and new axels in front.
And now i have acctually driven it :)

Good start. I flipped the battery tray around and the shock mounts as well as swapped out the servo before even plugging a battery into it.

So, what are your plans for it?

Get the USB programmer for the BEC, so that you can change its output voltage. The same programmer will work on your factory esc as well!

Your list looks pretty good. Only thing I would suggest to add would be some aluminum knuckles and c-hubs and a ungraded steering linkage.

A friend got the cable.
Can i run the rig on 3cell if i program the esc and bec.

Think i got alu c-hubs and as you say getting the alu linkage when im upgrading the servo.

I am running mine on 3s after programming the esc. My rig is light and devoted to crawling though, so making that decision is up to you.

I bet that got rid of some sloppy steering! All of that aluminum makes you not want to scratch it, right? I haven't noticed, have you upgraded to cvd axles for the front end yet? That was by far the best mod that I made to my 'Ridge. The smoothness of the steering is awesome after a set of the Axial cvd shafts. You get more angle without binding. I had chewed the stock ones into glitter and that glitter was all over my bearings.
