Hi all
First time i got in touch with the hobby was 10 years ago, shortly after i lost interest. A few months ago (just before Corona) i thought it would be fun to get back into it so i got myself a TRX-4 and started to modify it.

Here is what ive done/installed so far:
- Mamba X with 1406-2280kV motor
- Traxxas aluminum motor mount

- Traxxas 2255 steering servo (i know now i could have done better there)
- Traxxas steel servo horn
- Spektrum DX5 Rugged
- 3x Power HD Tr-4 servos
- SSD front and rear bumpers
- removed roofrack and spare tire

- Yeah Racing skidplates and stuff

Maybe i forgot something. All servos are running on 7.4V. The gearing is stock and ive set up the Crawler/Rockracer mode wich is cool, i just dont understand it completely.
What do you guys think, where did i made (more) mistakes? What should i do next?

Drive it!

Seriously, drive it and see if there are any issues that you want to address. That will be your next upgrade.

The only thing I did not see was a new set of wheels with tires. I only say this as I have a TRX-4 Bronco and the tires are actually fine but the foams are horrible.

Look into Proline dual stage foams with a new set of wheels and tires. That is probably the best performance upgrade you can do next if still on stock set of wheels / tires.

Yes you are right, im looking for some nice places to drive it now. I do have time for a week now looking forward to it.
The Bronco is a beauty! I already checked on those foams but they are very hard to find in switzerland, i hope to find some of them soon. I just do not know what wheels and tires to get, gotta do my research there first.
