Hi,

could anyone tell me how do you build a body from scratch using "foam sheet". The only foam sheet that I know is too week and soft. is there a special foam for RC building?, or maybe I need to cover the foam with a sort of special plastic after I give it the shape....

Any hint in the type and use of this foam will be much appreciated.

Is this "magic foam" (so far, it is magic for me) better than styrene sheets to build bodies?

Short of using lexan on a tube frame I have never heard of any one making a body from scratch. I have modified bodies using lexan and fiberglass filler.

I've seen people make bodies before, and they've all been from styrene. From my experience with styrene so far, it's all been good. :)

Styrene is what you need. It takes a lot of patience to build with that, and it is brittle. This is more for show, or slow trail riding, not bashing.
