Like many people now, I started with a simple SCX24 and that soon turned into me needing a 10th scale crawler.

I'm pretty big into R/C but never did crawlers, but now my local track has both a 24th and 10th scale trails. So this was a good time to get into it, I stayed pretty conservative with my budget until I really figure out what brushless system I want to go with, I'm thinking one of the new HW FOC systems.

Build:
TRX-4 Sport Kit
Savox SW-0231MG
Dynamite WP 60A
RC4WD 45T Motor (not sure if I like this)
Spektrum 215

Paint is Tamiya Copper 2 coats, followed up with 2 coats of black.

EDIT: Got the photos working

Great job!!!

Have you tried backing your paint with silver, then black? It makes the paint pop a little more.

Yeah, that 45T motor will push that TRX4 all day long, but you are not going anywhere fast. 30T is about right for the TRX4.

I've never thought about backing with silver before the black. I am pretty happy with how this paint came out. It's been years since I've painted a body.

So far I've only driven around my house but so far this seems like more then enough speed on 3s so I'm probably going to stay with it until I go to a brushless setup.

I'm also prior Navy as well "thumbsup"
