Everybody should have at least one jeep with big tires in their collection.

Out with my vanquish vs4-10 kit that I built with the vfd transmission and ar45 straight axles. What a beauty of a kit, even with the big heavy injora jk8 body, I thought it did really well. My Nathan Drake doll is a little too big for the interior but on the plus side I don’t have to strap him in. Just wedge him in there. Also don’t mind the tape I had to use to keep the doors closed, scale points for just like the crappy old jeep a high school buddy had that had duct tape holding one of the doors closed. Thanks for watching.

looks awsome

have you taller shocks ?

what shocks ?

what is vfd transmission?

and ar45 axles ?

Sorry for noob questions, im old basher, new to Crawling

Im thinking of buying the new Vanquish with straight axles.
Have same combo like you have

I built this with the vs4-10 chassis kit that you’re suppose use to upgrade an axial scx10.2. You can use the axial transmission an standard axial 10.2 axles, or you can upgrade to the vanquish vfd transmission that comes in some of their kits. This create its own set of challenges, the vfd transmission requires an offset front axle, easiest way to overcome this is to get the axial standard axle conversion kit, the vanquish 10.2 link set and the vanquish ar45 link set. The shocks I have on are just some ones I had lying around. There are no noob questions :) thanks for watching. Also, the new phoenix kit with straight axles looks really really nice

cool those shocks looks really nice you have there. They work well.
Seems to be great shocks with perfect oil thickness also. Smooth ride

Funny enough, I don’t put much oil in them. Just enough to keep the o-rings soft, maybe a few drops. It’s not the greatest for performance, but it gives it a bit more realistic look when I film. The shocks are off of a cross rc sg4 and are pretty nice shocks.
