ESS Sound Plus on SCX10.3

Any idea on how to install an ess sound plus on a stock SCX10.3? I’ve installed it on a TRX4 and SCX10.2, but somehow I’m having a hard time on a SCX10.3 since it doesn’t have a throttle channel on the stock receiver. TIA

The ESS one sound plus installs inline between the receiver and the ESC. That is where it gets its throttle input to change the sound. The SCX10.3 uses an integrated receiver/ESC so there is no external line to install it on. Short of using a different receiver and ESC I don't think you can install one in a stock SCX10.3.

Thanks mate, that’s the next thing I’m about to do. Get a new rx/tx with more channels to accommodate future accessories. Cheers!
