i want to use the throttle stick to use on an scx10 for the throttle. is there a way i can set it up that i can go forward and reverse? i will have all other channels except for the 5th channel being used.8)

you will have to calibrate it to the ESC with the throttle stick at 50% NOT all the way at the bottom.

Ummm...set the throttle stick 1/2 way between full forward and full reverse (AKA, mid throw).;-)
Then do the ESC calibration.
