Dx5 rugged issues

Ok I'm really trying to make this dx5 rugged remote work...I have aux channel 1, 2 and 3 set to MODE 2-pos BUT they only work if I hold the input location the entire time? Under mode on the screen it's blank but I can scroll down and there's the spaces that light up but the remote isn't showing me what the read out is....what's this thing defective out of the box SMH should have stuck with the traxxas remote

So this pos manual spektrum gives you is a JOKE, one single picture under aux assign...there's CHANNEL then INPUT the MODE CYCLIC and MOMENTARY...my remote I not showing me mode/cyclic or momentary options on the screen? WTF

Went on YouTube and found a setup video...my remote clearly has a problem with the display! It's not showing options that it should and I can scroll down, the box will highlight the missing option and I can hold ok. I har a beep and it changes the function..I now have all the shift servos and trans servo working but like I said the screen isn't showing all options as it should SMH what a $200 dollar POS

Have you contacted Horizon about replacing it?
