Hi, everyone ive come to this forum cause im an member over on scale4x4rc and im trying to share my build with everyone but my updates are not getting published so id though id come back here and post my build.

check out my album and tell me what you think, ignore the leaf springs as im using linked suspension now and also re designed the whole motor/tranny setup Oldman Ders's (williamcoley0) Library | Photobucket hope you guys enjoy

Ok so ive done some more work to the truck, made suspension from spare parts from my 1/10 cc011, i used the grey led stoppers and pen springs for the suspension and used steering links for the suspension links, their kind of bulky but work. i wanted to put the micro servo under the hood so relocated the motor to the center where its now one unit with the transfer case, have no idea how its going to work out but its worth a shot. ive ordered 2 small n20 100rpm motors that i saw someone building an fj40 on here use and wondered if they would work better as im also waiting on a aosjima hilux rn30 to arrive, i was abit reluctant to buy it because it was the lowrider version and had know idea if the body was going to be modified in anyway, but ill make it work.
Im planning on just being able to switch my axles over between the two so i get abit of variety.

ive also had the idea to use a 9v battery because its smaller and could be more easily disguised as a toolbox or something, has anyone tried to use a battery like this before? or would it be too much power?

take a look at my album again and tell me what you think :) Oldman Ders's (williamcoley0) Library | Photobucket

Hi Will, I like what you did. I've been reading to create a true-to-scale pickup truck for 1/24 scale. Maybe you can give me a guide when you have the time.
