Maybe this is just common sense but I just had a realization that I can use my Lexan circle cutter to make my own circular masks for headlights and such. I just saved a piece of sticker backing, applied some masking tape and cut my circle. Then I added a little piece in the middle to cover the tiny hole from the compass.

Bonus tip, cut a small section of the corner of the backing before applying it. This allows you to move the mask around until its right, stick the cut corner down once you're happy with it, peel the rest and stick it down.

I knocked off a headlight lense on my Power Wagon years back and getting it masked right was always my hang up in fixing it.

Anyway pretty simple but versatile tool

Huh, why did I not think to see if this existed? Thank you for letting me know it does.

For under $10 this beats using a compass or circle template to draw the circle, then cutting it out with scissors bya mile.

I've been putting wide masking tape on a piece of wax paper as my custom masking method.

It is true what they say, you learn something new everyday! I had no idea or never thought to check if this existed. Sure would make life easier.

Thanks for sharing. It’s now in my cart for purchase.(y)
