I'm gathering parts for my next build I'm going to use the scx10 axles and was wondering if there's a way to unlock the axles? Like a kit or parts I can buy to run the differential open. I know other axles have spider gears to run the diff open but I'm not sure if axial makes some too. I know it would suck on the rocks but I think experimenting is part of the fun.
If there is, can you guys post part numbers and wat ever else I'll need and pictures if you're running this on your scaler. Thanks

Open diffs might kind of suck but if you can make them limited slip it would be great for trail running, it would just suck on the rocks as you said.

Open diffs don't do well at all going slow and climbing anything. Now in a go fast heavy oil in front and lighter oil in rear, it works doing uphill at speed as long as all the rubber is down.

Like you say, if you haven't tried it might as well
