A “Karen” Burger King manager has banned a TikToker from their store after the man used his RC Car to place an order for a Spiderverse Whopper.

TikToker Kael Shoerlin, aka the_blue_car, drives his blue RC Car into various places to place an order — but a recent attempt to get something from Burger King led to him getting banned from the restaurant.

TikToker banned from Burger King for using RC Car to order
Uploaded on May 28, 2023, Kael’s video shows him driving his car into the local Burger King and getting the attention of one of the customers who begins helping him with his order.

However, the restaurant’s manager on duty had an issue with him driving the car into the store.

“I have to call my GM, not knowing where it came from this might be a problem,” said the manager before apparently calling the police.

The two behind the RC Car didn’t get in trouble with the police, but the manager did decide to “trespass” the guys from the Burger King — effectively banning them from the store unless they want to get arrested.

This Scaled-Up RC Car Is a Road-Legal EV

Coming. Can be Pre ordered

From:
Little Car Car Company

Electric 1/1 Offroad Tamiya buggy style car "thumbsup"

life-sized RC car. While not actually meant to be operated with a remote, the brand has officially pulled the cover off the Tamiya Wild One Max, a road-legal, junior EV based on the 1980s RC icon.

The RC toy version of the Tamiya Wild One first arrived back in 1985, quickly becoming a star in the world of scaled down cars. Due to its popularity back in period, the Tamiya truck made for the perfect basis for a project of this kind. That said, things have changed quite a bit since the early prototypes from The Little Car Company were first displayed. Based on customer input, The Little Car Company stretched the Wild One Max in almost every direction. The team added 3.9-inches to both the length and width of the EV in an effort to make it more accommodating for drivers and passengers alike. The crew also adjusted the front suspension towers to improve visibility, while also improving pedestrian crash safety.

The Little Car Company only plans to build 100 examples of the Tamiya Wild One Max Launch Edition. Pricing and delivery information is expected to arrive later this year as production draws nearer. Other variants of the blown-up RC are sure to follow, but don’t expect them to come at a budget price.

FLY LIKE YOU DRIVE WITH THIS FLYING RC DRIFT CAR

May 26, 2023

flying_drift_car.png

So it’s 2023, and you really feel like we should have flying cars by now, right? Well, as long as you ignore the problem of scale presented by [Nick Rehm]’s flying RC drift car, we pretty much do.

At first glance, [Nick]’s latest build looks pretty much like your typical quadcopter. But the design has subtle differences that make it more like a car without wheels. The main difference is the pusher prop at the aft, which provides forward thrust without having to pitch the entire craft. Other subtle clues include the belly-mounted lidar and nose-mounted FPV camera, although those aren’t exactly unknown on standard UAVs.

<iframe width="799" height="450" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dcu0jODIlWU" title="World's Fastest FLYING RC Drift Car" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe>

The big giveaway, though, is the RC car-style remote used to fly the drone. Rather than use the standard two-joystick remote, [Nick] rejiggered his dRehmFlight open-source flight control software to make operating the drone less like flying and more like driving.
