Scale Comp Course Design
A competition will consist of 3-5 seperate courses. A course will be comprised of 10-15 gates with a minimum of 5 minutes time for completion per course.
A gate will be marked with at least 2 gate markers spaced a minimum of 16 inches apart. Arrows on the gate markers or chalk marks will denote the direction or progress through the gate.

All vehicles must fall into SORCCA technical guidelines for classes 1, 2 and 3.

Scale Points.
All vehicles must be teched and scale points tallied by yourself prior to the start of an event. If you questions about scale points or how to tally scale points, post up here or stop by the shop the week before the event and we will help you out.
Scale points however have nothing to do with vehicle legality, just the bonus points you will receive for the scale details of each truck you enter. Vehicles will be teched at the beginning of the day for class legality.

Class 1 and Class 2 trucks will use the same courses, class 3 trucks will have separate courses.

Series Points.
-This will be a points series, 1st place will receive 100 points, 2nd. 99 points, 3rd. 98 and so on.
-Driver with the best score on each course will get 1 bonus point.
-There will be one "drop" for the series.

The first event will be at Buffalo Creek (weather permitting.)

Im ready...thanks to The Crawl Space for helping a brotha out. Class 2 1.9?

Anytime dude "thumbsup"

Here are the rules for SORCCA based scale comps: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/scale-comp-rules/421205-2013-sorrca-scale-rules.html

They can be a bit confusing at first but its good to give them a read through. The quick answer is yes, your 1.9 jeep is a Class 2. Don't forget to bring your Wraith for double the fun

And to all drivers, you are allowed to run multiple classes in this series "thumbsup"

***UPDATE***

Alrighty drivers, just a couple days til the Scale Series. Be sure to follow the GPS coordinates, when you turn on to Redskin Creek Road keep an eye out for a green Axial banner and that will be the comp site "thumbsup"

Good times and awesome turn out for the first comp of the Scale Series.

Good work to all the drivers and special thanks to all that stepped up to help judge and the (evil) course builders.

And on to the pics I got.

Great time as always. Was really hoping to place better, but the 1.9 class had some serious talent that day....and 3 raisins. That's tough for the Hammers to compete against.
