Good afternoon everyone, a few local guys will be getting together this Saturday (1/23/2016) for a lil fun. If anyone is interested and would like directions either PM me here or join Baton Rouge Area Scalers on Facebook. We will be meeting at the Mountain bike trails on Hooper Rd. in Baton Rouge. Absolutely great place to run these lil trucks!!!!!! here are the directions.
Directions To Trail Head:
Take I-110 to the Baton Rouge Airport Exit onto Harding Blvd. north toward Plank Rd. Harding Blvd. will become Hooper Rd. at the first red light. Stay on Hooper Rd. until you get to the next red light, turn left onto Cedar Glen in the Sharon Hills neighborhood. When Cedar Glen dead ends, turn right onto Guynell. Continue on Guynell for two blocks and you will be at the entrance of Hooper Road Park. The trailhead is on the left as you enter the parking lot.

We will be meeting Saturday morning around 9A.M.
Hope to see some new faces!!!

Just sent a request to the Facebook page. Checking to see if y'all are still meeting up and running here.

Been a while since we did anything. Maybe when it gets a bit cooler that might change. Some of the members recently had some life changing events happen so I'm certain that has effected how often we meet.

Soon young Jedi soon ........... just ducked off waiting to get back situated before I pull a rig that was saved from a watery grave !!! May be ready at the end of the month... Tokdl.....soon as we get construction starred on the house, I will be simultaneously building a testing trail and scale area.

I know the feeling my friend. Priorities! Went through the same thing in 05' Still keeping you guys in my thoughts. Let me know if I can help out etc. Miss those weekend trail runs with ya'll.

I'm in Ascension parish out by Ralph Sellars but was spared from damage. Seen much of it and helped friends cleanup so I understand your situations.

Post here and on the fb page when y'all are looking to go. I'm trying to get out to the bike trail in the next few weekends. Been really busy lately but should have free time coming soon.

Been looking to do a bit of trailing myself. Test some new susp. parts. I won't be able to do much for the next two weeks, but I'm free after that. I'm willing to venture out that way if you're up for a hike.

Sounds like I need to come to south La to do some crawling. I have 100 acres I run on but running it all the time will get old

I don't have Facebook, but I'd love to come out and spectate sometime until my rigs are ready of course.

I'm in Abita Springs. Not in to trail rigs at the moment but mini rock crawlers. Anyone out there? Glad y'all are having fun over in BR and wish the best to you to see the popularity grow!

I found some pretty decent, natural crawling terrain around the Abita River in downtown Abita Springs. Anyone in the BR area like to come over for a day of crawling/trailing? Trying to put word out all over SE LA.
