The Colorado Scale Comp Series is a 6 event point series to bring together the Scale RC comp community of Colorado and to determine the best drivers in the state.

Series Points.
-This will be a points series, at each event 1st place will receive 100 points, 2nd. 95 points, 3rd. 90 and so on.
-The driver(s) with the best score on each course will get 1 bonus point.
-There will be no "drop" for this season due to the amount of events.

Drivers wanting their scores to be tracked for the Series Scale off will have a one time $10 series pay-in to the host. Series pay-ins will help pay for comp supplies and trophies/prizes for the Scale off.

The series points are used to qualify for the Colorado Scale Off that will be held at the end of the series. Date and location for the Scale off is set for Sunday, March 4th. at Palmer in Colorado Springs.

Comp details:
CSCS comps will use the current SORRCA course rules and vehicle class guidelines for each event. All vehicles must fall into SORRCA technical guidelines for classes 1, 2 and 3.

Point out/time out at 50 points for each course. DNS penalty is 60 points for each course.

Scale Comp Course Design
A competition will consist of 4 separate courses for each class.

Each course will comprise of 10 gates with a minimum of 5 minutes time for completion per course.

A gate will be marked with at least 2 markers. Arrows on the gate markers or chalk marks will denote the direction or progress through the gate as well as a boundary lines.

Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 will have separate courses.

Scale Points.
All vehicles must be teched and scale points tallied by yourself prior to the start of an event. If you questions about scale points or how to tally scale points, post up here and we will help you out.

Scale points however have nothing to do with vehicle legality, just the bonus points you will receive for the scale details of each truck you enter.

Vehicles will be teched at the beginning of the day for class legality.

The top 5 drivers in each class will go on the Scale Off comp at the end of the season.

Please post up if you have any questions, comments or concerns and here's to a great season of Scale Comp action!
