Colorado: Hiking, Biking, and, well, Crawling Exempt from "Shelter-in-place" Order

Hey guys, as you know the governor issued a shelter-in-place "order" for the state of Colorado. I read up on the details of the order and it turns out hiking, biking, etc. are exempt from the order.

To me, that also means crawling, as I know here in Colorado Springs it's just hiking with an RC truck. Just wanted to make sure you all know with this nice weather we're still free to go crawl and get some fresh air and vitamin D. I also read that even if you break the order, the cops are only "educating" people, not ticketing or anything.

The best part about this hobby is you can practice "social distancing" while still having a great time crawling. So basically, what I'm saying is GET OUT AND CRAWL! Enjoy the beautiful weather mother nature has brought us.

"thumbsup"

Yeah my county has deemed recreation okay so long as nothing is communal like sharing a radio/rig.

This "environment" has been a perfect excuse to introduce my wife and daughters to the hobby. I have tried in the past but there hasn't been much interest. I just recently finished a TRX-4 chassis build (perfect timing, as I got the kit about a month ago) and took my oldest daughter out with me for the shakedown run. She was a nervous wreck trying to prevent a rollover and absolutely LOVED it. I asked my wife to go out with me on the next run, she too was nervous but had a blast. Yesterday I took my youngest out with me, she too had a great time. I let them drive my bomber while I tested out the TRX, then we would switch. They all liked the bomber a little better due to its ability to crawl over just about anything without having to actually "drive" like the TRX required.

I plan on going out as often as I can, as I recently discovered an absolute gem of a spot that I have driven by for the last 10+ years but never stopped for some dumb reason. Anyone in the Parker area, let me know if you plan on going out or want to meet up.
