Here my quarantine project, converting the CMX in the to a chassis mounted servo set up. I've seen quite a few of these conversion before but the vast majority of them were 4 links up front still which makes for terrible bump steer. Here's one with a 3 link + panhard with a some minor layout changes to the chassis, bump steer is also minimal.

Here's the chassis layout, it's been rearranged to shift the weight up front and lower for better handling. The the stainless sliders and bumper are homemade and really helps with scale and saving the body.

Running the Tamiya d90 body with some 1.55 wheels and tires off AliExpress. The body is magnet mounted so no pins stick out. Currently its has a JX 46kg 12v brushless servo, mamba micro X w/ Holmes Puller Pro 2700kv stubby on a 3s lipo

I really like that!

I may be a fan of keeping the servo on the axle, but that is impressive how low you got the battery tray. I bet it really pays off on the trail.
