I started this SCX10 2 kit in October of 2016.
The build started as just a kit, The first mod was to make a straw roll cage with interior. I used hot glue for the straw joints and a Axial Yeti interior, after the cage was made I painted it black and hot glued the cage and interior to the body.

Timelaspe of the SCX10 2 kit being built.

I Cut up some steel diamond plate and added some scale accessory's. The aluminum diamond plate I used was heavy and I replaced it with lexan later.

In the summer of 2017 I self taught myself how to tig weld. The first welding project was to make a front bumper. I used 1/8 rod to make a tube bumper and then used a steel bar to connect the frame and welded the bumper to the chassis.

The next steel addition was a rear bumper and sliders. I used 1/8 rod to make both bumpers and sliders. The sliders are welded to the chassis and the rear bumper bolts to the chassis with 4 bolts. I also got Vanquish Products shock hoops.

This is where the build takes a turn, I decided to strip the truck and make a Cherokee based truggy. (Cherokee+Truggy=Chuggy) I started dissembling parts i didnt want to use and cut the bumpers and sliders off.

To start the tube work I used 3/16 DOM tube to make boatsides.

Great work son. That fact that you've kept all this footage in reserve for two years is impressive. Congratulations on starting your own YouTube channel. I'm excited to see the creations you'll be building. The Chuggy deserves an epic build thread.

Very nice work! I really liked seeing the 34 ford in that video! This is her latest condition, still a great Truggy!

Thank you Dad for the kit and the tooling to make this build possible.

To keep the stock Cherokee grill I first cut 3 sections off the grille and then 1 more so the finished grille has 2 lights on each side and 3 ribs between the lights.
