I have opted to build a Comp crawler with dlux fab components. Im shooting for a 2.2 4ws MOA and have electronics questions. I have a couple 1080 esc's on hand, and I bought two Reedy Radon 12T 5 slot's with the Dlux recommended 15T pinions. If I read the 1080 specs correctly, I am limited to a 2s lipo. Does that sound correct? The only other factor is if the motor would run under 2000 rpm then 3s may be viable. HobbyWing replied to my question and said just about any crawler motor will work fine on 3s with these ESC's.
