Hey Everyone,

June 14th Boston Crawlers will be continuing its 4th annual Nationals Qualifier Series. This will be the final competition of 5 events to determine who will receive one of the two invitations we have to compete at USRCCA Nationals (Being held in Jamestown Rhode Island this year).
This event will be held at Fort Wetherill in Jamestown Rhode Island. Oddly enough it is the same location as Nationals This year. So bring your rig and your A game. This one is for all the marbles "thumbsup"

We will have a 2.2 Pro class, a 2.2 Shafty Class, and a "Run What You Brung" class. As always there is no entry fee required for these events. Thanks to our sponsors Castle Creations, RCP Crawlers, Lattice Innovations, and CowRC we will have some sweet prizes to give out to the top place finishers of the day. We will also be giving out Invitation Awards to the top 2 Pro and Shafty Drivers in the series.

Date, Time, and Location are on the flyer. See the map below for details on where to go from the parking lot. Use your GPS to go to 113 Fort Wetherill Rd. Jamestown, RI. Look at the map to see the exact parking spot.

To anyone who has not come to one of our events we welcome you to stop by and check it out, or enter a truck in one of our comp classes, or try some gates in our run what you brung class. We keep it pretty low key, Fun, but competitive.

All are welcome.

See the map below for directions to the crawling area.

going to be another no-go for me. same day as my daughter's dance recital. just put the nail in the coffin for a trip to nationals this year (not that my performance at previous comps was getting me there anyway! :))

Hey Brian

Is this a course you need a comp 2.2 crawler to do? is it a good spectator event?

I saw the bc website seems like you guys do just 2.2 stuff is that right?

I just got my first SCX10 and interested in more scale crawling than whatever else you call it. :-)

Is there a group in the MA area that does scale crawling events, non formal stuff?...... did I just make a newbie post....

I am hoping to pick up some tekin 35 turn motors tomorrow..anyone have any problems I need to be aware of ??or should I just stick with the 45 turns I have now ??thx for the input

Sami, You will like the tekin 35t's that is what I ran for quote some time.

Marax, We have a lot of guys in our group that do scaler crawling but our events are more focused towards 2.2.

That being said we do have a run what you brung class, we set up some gates and get people used to crawling on a course. It is decent for spectators, you would be surprised what some of these rigs can do, and there will be plenty of rock to run your scaler on too.

I Picked these up ( 35t matched ) gota get them installed with some other stuff before comp ;-)

I got the motors Installed with 14 tooth pinion .I will be testing out tomorrow at madness..I am hoping the stock bearings in the rear hold up!!! Probably not but one can hope ..

Yea weather is looking descent. I can deal with a passing shower.

Daddy, can't wait to see this guy in action.

CTSami, Let me know how the test goes. I may have some bearings if you need them.

As for the rest of you, see you in 4 days :)

Only a couple days left... And I can actually make it to this one, yay! Better get some practice in this week, been slacking big time!

Holy wheel speed batman .WOW my truck is on crack ..I am going to have to get used to this and quick ..35 turn Tekin's is what I have been missing all this time.. :)

Two days left till this happens.

Look like the weather might hold out for us. Maybe a shower in the Early AM.

We are pretty much planning on doing this one rain or shine anyway.

Wish I could make it but I have a work meeting at 7am til 11am and a bday party at 3pm just no time

I'm planning on being there. Hopefully with my new berg/moon buggy rig if I get it finished in time. It won't have a dig tho. Its coming in the mail with a pair of matched broods the day of the comp :(

Looks like there will be some morning showers rolling out around 9am then should be good for the rest of the day. Fingers Crossed.

Laxjj - Come by for a couple hours and hang out if you have time.
