Boston Crawlers - Event #5 - August 14th - Worlds End

On SUNDAY, August 14th Boston Crawlers will be continuing our outdoor series with event #5. We had hoped to be here in July but got rained out for the whole weekend. Let's cross our fingers that mother nature cooperates this time.

We will have a 2.2 Pro class, a 2.2 Shafty Class, and a "Run What You Brung" class. As always there is no entry fee required for these events, but World's End does have a $6 entry fee so keep that in mind and grab some singles before you leave the house. A small price to pay to support a great park that always provides us with a fun day of crawling.

Registration will begin at 10:00 and course 1 will start at 10:30.

Once you are in, stay to the right and park at the end of the parking lot and follow the trail in. Follow the path for a while and when the trail splits stay to the RIGHT, always stay to the RIGHT!!! (looking at you robbob). Keep the water on your right and look for us on the rocks near the top of the peninsula. Fair warning, it is a bit of a walk but it is a very flat easy walk.

See the map below for directions, GPS to 136 Martins Ln, Hingham, MA will get you very close.

All are welcome.

I've been MIA for this entire season but I actually don't have any work or family conflicts on the 13th. Guess I can dust of the comp rigs and try to make it out.

Keeping an Eye on the weather, Looks like mother nature is not going to Cooperate..... Again! We might be delaying this to Sunday, nearly no chance of rain but it's gonna be toasty (bring your bathing suit)!

I will post something official tonight.

Much higher chance of rain Saturday and a bunch of people that are busy, officially moving to Sunday. Bring Water, Sunscreen, and swim shorts. See you Sunday

Great day or on the rocks today. The weather wasn't nearly as bad as i thought it would be once you got out on the rocks with the ocean breeze. Had a few new faces show up and Bob (RiCrawler) reminded us he was the man to beat... though he only snuck it out by 1 point today.
