best tires for crawlings axial wraith

I think you are trying to start an argument. Pitbulls, Swampers, ect.... all depends who you ask.

The only scale tire's I own are Pitbull's..
Once I got the OG 1.9 rock beast, I've never looked in any other direction..
A few sets in 1.9, a few in 2.2, a set of 1.55 Growler's..

I'm a comp guy tho.. I want tires that work for crawling, not looks.

Many good 2.2s

Mainly crawling:
Ottsix voodoo Pin
HB Rovers
HB Sedona
Losi Boss Claws
Axial Ripsaw

More to the scale side:
Ottsix voodoo U4
Pro-Line Interco TSL SX Super Swamper regular and XL
RC4WD Interco IROK Super Swamper
RC4WD Interco Super Swamper TSL/Bogger
RC4WD Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC
Axial Falken Wildpeak M/T
Axial Maxxis Trepador

Which Ottsix "Voodoo Pin's" compound would be best for strictly crawlin:

Gold: Ultra Soft - U4 track and racing compound
Silver: Soft - Either U4 racing or G6 type events
Blue: Medium Soft - NOT A RACING COMPOUND - Great crawling compound, expect BIG traction in the rocks

Anybody run G-Made tires? Just curious. I couldn't find much using the search.

I'm going to look into those Pitbulls. Not only do they look great, it also appears that they perform very well.

I recently put some Jconcepts 2.2 ruptures on my wraith length bomber and really like them. I've dropped down to a 11T pinion. I've put the rover white dots on the Losi night crawler and they work great. Price was reasonable.

For what its worth the new 2.2 Voodoo KLR's are without question the best performing scale tires in my tire box. I'm running Gold compound 2.2 KLRs front and rear with Crawler Innovation's 2.2 standard height Double Duce foam with soft outers both front and rear. I've been running them for a month now and they keep getting better. I'm making lines today I couldn't before. I was a devoted Pit Bull fan which in my opinion was the best scale performance tire on the market. My 2.2 rig is under five pounds RTR.

I really like the Axial 2.2 Ripsaws for function and looks. Proline TSLs are great and look more scale. RC4WD Iroks look good and work pretty well.
