Hello to all,
I have a scx10 II kit with an ESC Hobbywing 1080 Crawler Edition that I would like to go to 2S in the future at 3S ... what is the best motor? I would prefer 27T or similar...

Holmes hobbies or team brood 27t motors will kick the snot out of the stock axial 27t motor. More speed and torque..and both are can be rebuilt. I dont know about team brood costs, but the Holmes motor can be had for 49 bucks and for the increase in performance...I think its a no brainer...thats why I have a few different ones.

When ordering a brushed motor from HH, how do you k ow what to select for the different drop down menus? Timing, direction etc?

of Holmes Hobbies I was watching the TorqueMaster Pro 27T and the CrawlMaster Pro 13T, wich is the best? ...instead which engine is the best of Team Brood? my biggest use would be in G6 style, I would not use it only on rocks but also in water and mud

Oh he’ll yeah I know. Just putting that in because I beat the hell out of mine run it in water to clean it and it keeps kicking. And at $20 it’s pretty good. But yeah rebuildable is better

Personal preference.....the biggest difference between those two is the 13t has a weaker drag brake than the 27t. This is due to the difference between the 3 slot rotor in the 27t and the 5 slot rotor in the 13t... The 13t will have a better low end start up than the 27t.

I'm undecided between:
-TorqueMaster Pro 27T
-CrawlMaster Pro 13T
which is the best for use on rocks and mud in the G6 style?

You’ll get a lot more brush life out of the TorqueMaster. Both are great choices though. I’ve got a 30T torquemaster that I run in my AX10. Ran the 13T CrawlMaster in my Wraith before I just recently converted to a brushless HH PullerPro set up.

Make sure you read through HH website for more understand which motor is suit your terrain and driving style.
