I'm planning on getting a ryft soon. What batteries will fit in it? What size and c rating do you recommend?

I run a 5000mah 20c 3s in my ryft, get 40 ish min of run time, but my batteries come out hotter than I like. I would go at least 30c personally.

Most 5000mah 3s hardcase packs will fit just fine.

I'm running gens ace 5000mah 3s 50c, and also gens ace 5300 packs when bashing/playing. When competing I use gens ace 2200 40c 3s packs, which really aren't rated for the amps a ryft will pull, but don't seem to mind powering it for the typical 2-3 minutes it takes to complete a hill. The comp hills are so vertical I can't make it too the top with a 5000mah pack.

I personally wouldn't go larger than 5000mah due to weight/balance. The battery is kinda up high and the ryft is inherently nose heavy, which is good for hill climbing, but bad for all around high speed shenanigans.

That's the exact information I was looking for. Thank you very much

I have a CNHL hard case 3s 6600 MAH. Just fits. almost snaps into the battery tray. 38ish bucks each on Evilzon.
