My friend is doing a CC01 Landfreeder build and is on a VERY tight budget but would like a waterproof servo. I know that you can waterproof a servo by doing it DIY but he would like to not be taking the risk of mucking up as my servos haven't lasted too long . So I was looking for cheap servo that would do until he can afford an Savox WP servo and found these.

Has anybody run these as he'd very much like to know what people have to say about these. I've checked out RCShortCourse and people have said that on the Arrma Fury it should be replaced for a stronger, more torquey servo but for a CC01 scaler I'd imagine that it'd be fine? Info and thoughts would be appreciatedas this'll be his first hobby grade RC and I don't want him thinking it's a waste of time because a servo gives out on him!
Thanks

I have no idea the specs, but ARRMA are about the cheapest RC you can buy at a hobby shop. I would highly doubt either of those would hold up very long, no matter what they are on. If you want a cheap waterproof one, get a Traxxas. Still not an uber strong servo, but rebuild kits are cheap also.

He bought one.

For a plastic gear servo.... IT IS AWESOME
It out performed my TowerPro MG servo, my AS-2 servo, my AS-3 servo and my Hitec one.
and now Arrma have released a ADS7 MG and WP one for $35.
It has tonnes of torque and is a great servo, even the one with plastic gears.

Well Done Arrma.

Apart from the red factor, I think this would be a great upgrade for most scalers.
Sure, it might have been a one off, and if you buy one cause of this and it's junk, don't blame me but, really, it seems GREAT
