I've Had the Yeti for a while now and there's still a lot I'd like to do to it but I've gotten it to the point where I'm pretty satisfied with it so I figured I'd share. Well, I'm not satisfied with the wheels because I basically can't even drive it with the recent addition of the pro4 HD unless I'm easy on the acceleration because the tires just get ripped right out of the beads (But New Bead locks and Tires are on the way 8))

Need to get together sometime. Planning to build a U4 track in my back yard this spring.

In the mean time we have a HUGE slag dump to play around.

Added Vp Housing and DMG skid.
The skid throws off color scheme a bit but when I put my order in I wasn't really thinking I just tossed that in the cart and didn't even consider that the wraith one is black and is about the same, Oh well I want a silver or raw skid eventually anyway. I wonder if DMG could hook that up.

Looks like there could be a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow, lol. Rig's turning out nice my man.

Once you start using & abusing it, things will blend very nicely.

Looking forward to the next get together, keep watching TSSO site. "thumbsup"

Thanks man and yeah it won't be long before it blends in with the rest of the rig. I'm not very nice to him but in a good way.
I'll see how the finish wears after the first run cause i may just polished down the bottom side and leave the axle side since it will trap moisture and rust

Vanquish Methods and Voodoos in Silver Compound.
Did one to see how it looked and to lazy to do all those screws 3 more times

Forgot to post up the xtreme shock tower when I got it. Wasn't even close to fitting and needed to be reamed out a good bit but now that it's in I like it. IMO whether you go with aluminum or this one it is a solid upgrade. The front end is noticeably tighter. Before if you'd hit a bump or take a hard turn the wheels would bend in and out cause the camber links just bent the plastic shock tower. I even noticed the wheels like skipping In high traction conditions. Seems to limit the play in steering a little bit also

I've been waiting and hoping vanquish or someone else would release an aluminum gearbox and finally gave in and got gpm cause it was the only one available
If your looking for a drop in piece I wouldn't recommend. First since it separates in half the shimming was a bit different took a while to get it right. Especially annoying because it needed mounted to see the final fit so I had to take it in and out 100 times. Second the bat wing piece doesn't fit in. So I had to flatten out the front with a Dremel. And my vanquish steering rack rubbed so I shaved some off the gearbox; installed it and it needed a little more but was to annoyed to take it off again so I just shaved some off the rack. But other than that it looks nice lol. No heavy running yet but at least I won't destroy gears. The pro4 is to much for the plastic one.

Rigs looking good, that GPM diff also looks like two differnt colors.

I think it's because I had a lamp pointed at one side and the other side was lit from the overhead light so one side looks darker. And the hinge pin retainer I got in is actually gunmetal not silver

Is it just me or is the yeti in dire need of someone to come out with a chassis cover (outerwears where you at?) my ghetto setup isn't enough for me I need something clean.
Or one of you guys with 3d printers. Have you ever looked into molding a piece that just mounts on top of the bat wing piece with the existing screw locations and then having it hook into the top bars of the battery tray? Or anything like that.
I'm probably gonna look for a waterproof breathable fabric next and cut it to fit like a glove around the chassis tub.
Anybody come up with any better ideas yet feel free to post up what you've come up with
