Tough Truck meets The Outback Challenge in this three stage event... Based in Bullsbrook WA

With tracks that are designed to push you and your vehicles to the limit, AND work with a teammate.... Fewer build regulations, fewer penalties, and challenging courses will see this as a MUST WATCH event.

A team event, two drivers, two vehicles.

This event is open to all single motor, shaft driven vehicle configurations considered 1/10 scale which meets the following vehicle requirements. (No MOA permitted)

Vehicles must be characteristic of a competition spec 1:1 vehicle.
All vehicles must have a designated "driver's cockpit". Electrics must be covered by paneling. (Batteries and steering servos may be exposed, clear vehicle windows are acceptable)
Tyre size is limited to 5 inches tall or less (wheel size is not taken into consideration)
All tyres must be replicas of a commercially available 1:1 scale tyre.
Power is limited to 3s.
Track width is limited to 10.5 inches.
Minimum vehicle weight is 2kg.

Each team is limited to a maximum of 9 vehicle attribute points and each vehicle is limited to 6 points. Points are calculated as follows. *note if one vehicle has 6 points, the second vehicle can only have 3 points.

Scale class 1 (2015) compliant vehicles = 1 point

Scale class 2 (2015) compliant vehicles (tyre size under 4.5")= 3 points

Tube frame, open wheeled vehicles or otherwise outside of class regulations = 4 points (examples but not limited too modified gmade r1, custom u4 buggies, vehicles that fall outside of scale class regulations) (tyre size under 4.5")

3s battery power = 1 point
Dig unit = 2 points
4 wheel steer = 2 points
Tyres between 4.5" and 5" inclusive = 1 point

All teams are to have one recovery "rope" to be transported on one of the team vehicles.. This is to be no longer than 200cm total length (recommended minimum of 150cm), including hooks/loops and anchors. Only designated "anchor points" and/or the other team vehicle may be used for winching or "snatching". Vehicle recovery points must be tube styled bar work or shackles mounted to the vehicle chassis, bumpers or cross members prior to competition. (Body panels are not to be used for recoveries) "Wheel winching" is permitted.

There are 3 individual stages. Scores will be taken from each stage and will be totalled at the end of the day.

STAGE 1
The Gates Of Hell
30+ gates
From start to finish, this course will test your vehicle and driver skills.
Steep inclines. Steep declines. Crevices. Tight corners. Narrow gates. Side slopes. You may need to push, pull, snatch or winch your team through some of these gates.

STAGE 2
Navi Challenge
How much do you trust your teammate? Will you decide to drive blind, or will you guide your teammate through this defined course?
This is a real adventure! From the start you will find your team climbing through tough obstacles including a crevice defined by sheer cliffs, a log bridge, and eroded granite to the end where one of your chose team vehicle must make it to the "lookout".
Can your team finish the navi challenge?

STAGE 3
Endurance Trail
This is a multi gate open slather. Find your own way through the back paddock and pass through all of the gates. Don't forget the bonus gates that are well worth the risks!!!

Stay tuned for more details....
