Although scale rigs are the main theme of the event, bring anything you want. 2.2s and 1.9s will have the most fun here. We will run 2.2 unlimited's on their own course's, USRCCA rules apply. http://usrcca.com/rules.htm A comp-worthy Super will become boring fairly quick.
The rules and classes that the guys at Scale4x4 laid out are listed below, but I will run the USRCCA rules, http://usrcca.com/rules.htm for 2.2 unlimited courses and the Scale4x4 and Nor-Cal rules for Follow the Leader type events.
We would like to have a raffle and drawings for this event, so if you and your company would like to donate raffle items and have your name on the Banner and advertising, please PM me.

General rules:
This is a true scale off-road competition. All classes are welcome and all styles. The classes will be broke down into the listing below. There will be two general events for all the classes. A follow the leader course and then a labeled trail that must be followed. The catch here is that if you get stuck you will have to depend on a fellow RC driver from your own class to free you or right you if you flip with his/her rig. We will have a designated rescue rigs that can be used for all classes, but with no guarantee in success. If all efforts fail and the rig can not be freed by another classmate then a manual retrieval is allowed, but with point deduction. There will be some water hazards so waterproofing is recommended. Power will be provide via 1:1 rigs batteries and power inverters. A generator may be on hand. Needless to say battery charging will be a time consuming part of the day. Bring yourself plenty of batteries and a charger. You are allowed to manually hook up your rigs. If you have winches you are allowed to free yourself without points deduction.
Classmates: A classmate is anyone running in the same class as you.
Number or vehicles allowed is unlimited, but just remember you can only drive one in Gated competition.
Each driver may only enter 1 vehicle per class. But multiple drivers can enter the same vehicle in any given class.
If you have wood bridges, rope bridges, scale obstacles and parts to use in a course of any kind, please bring them, we will incorporate them into the courses.
Classes:
1.9. This class will be limited to all 1.9 rim sized rigs. You may cut down and modify a 2.2 tire to fit a 1.9 rim also. IF you have question whether your rigs rubber will be legal just ask. SEE NOR-CAL RULES BELOW ALSO
The 2.2 scale class will consist of anything using 2.2 rims. All mods are welcome and winches are suggested if available. Anything and everything is allowed but vehicles must be scale in appearance. SEE NOR-CAL RULES BELOW ALSO
2.2 unlimited class, follows USRCCA RULES.
Super class Pretty simple...you guys know the deal. These rigs can be brought to the site, but will become boring.
Events:
Follow the leader. This is a pretty straightforward and simple event. A coin toss will decide the leader and from there he/she will choose the trail to follow. He will stay the leader until he can’t go no further or gets stuck. Then the next person in line becomes the leader. This sounds boring to some people, but trust me it can be a challenge to follow some of these rigs. Once again there is no hands on. If you get stuck or flipped your classmate is your salvation or the rescue rigs will be. If you have to manually remove the vehicle or right it, then you will loose points. There will be a designated starting point and finish points. It is up to the leaders to find the line best for them and hoping to keep the most points. The point is to get everyone else stuck while your rigs makes it through. Helping you keep the advantage.
Euro Trials Course – In this event you will be awarded points for passing through marked buoys in a given direction. If you are not able to pass through the buoys in the indicated direction or if you touch the buoys while passing though the gate you will not get any points. This setup will be more of a challenging event. There will be a number of ravines, bridges, creeks and hills to traverse and climb. Again the, “stuck” rule applies. Failure to take the course within the markers will result in point’s deduction also.
Points system is differently based on the event run.
Thanks to badger and the Nor-cal RC guys for these rules:
2.2 and 1.9 Scale Truck Class

• Vehicle must have a frame-railed chassis. Tubed frame rails are ok.
• Vehicle wheelbase needs to fit within the fender walls of the body.
• Vehicle track width is a maximum 11 inches.
• Vehicle battery must be mounted on the chassis. You cannot mount the battery above the steering servo/axle/upper links. The goal is to place the battery where it is not visible for a more scale appearance.
