Are you really running two 6C packs in series, and not parallel? Seems a bit much, can the rooster handle that? I guess it's not that much more voltage than 3S.

no there in series lol im using a traxxas series connector (y harness) to run both batteries:twisted: and yes the rooster esc seems to be holding up quite well lol

i been gradually working on my scx10"thumbsup" heres a update

"thumbsup"
How did you mount that light bar. I have the same light bar and roof rack, but the light bar is too wide for the body. I was wondering how you mounted the light bar.

I think it looks good with the honcho bumper maybe paint the aluminum bits black. I would get rid of that tamiya style connector tho. especially running all that power thru it

Looking good!
I would suggest putting on a different bumper also, and change out those tamiya connectors too. "thumbsup"

You are way beyond what that ESC was meant for voltage wise. The stock specs say "Input Voltage: 4-7 NiCd/NiMH cells (1.2V per cell) or 2 LiPo cells", definitely not 12!. Traxxas offers both series and parallel wiring "Y" adapter, sure you are not running the parallel one? I would think that the ESC would smoke immediately.

I personally think the Honcho bumper looks ok... U need to drop the body down lower so there isn't such a huge gap between the body and bumper.
Although a DH FAB bumper would look 100x better!

Here's my rig with the Honcho bumper... Please excuse the giant 2.2's... They were just for the beach rocks
