A.S.T.R. Scale Comp #4 - Sunday Dec. 20th - Casa Grande

Comp #4 is at an old favorite location of mine and a new favorite of many others after our last comp down there. See Map for directions... https://www.google.com/maps/dir/32....7103206,12269m/am=t/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!4m1!3e0

*****Since this comp is so close to Christmas I have decided to do something a little different. Dress in your favorite Christmas themed attire or decorate your rig with some Christmas scale items and you'll receive -10 extra bonus points off your total score.*****

We will be running three classes, each class will run 3 courses with an 8 minute time limit each:

Class-1 “Street"
• Description - A street legal off-road vehicle that you would drive to work or the trail head and outfit like an expedition vehicle such as the Camel Trophy truck D90 rigs.

Class-2 “Trail”
• Description - A stock vehicle that has been modified to become a capable trail rated rig and is not necessarily street legal.

Class-3 “Modified”
• Description - An off-road vehicle that you would build from the ground up and might see in a TTC/KOH type competition.

If you are unsure which class your truck belongs in please take a look at the SORRCA rules for clarification.

For those that haven't been to a A.S.T.R. scale comp yet dues are $5 a comp or $25 a season due at sign in Sunday morning.

We will have a short drivers meeting @ 8:30 and will start the comp at 9am so please try to arrive early and have your scale points figured out in advance or they will not be added to your scores.

If you would like to help set courses I will be on site by 7am.

Also we could use some help judging so if you are able to help let me know, it will help move things along.

Thanks and look forward to seeing you all next Sunday.

Great comp today and the weather was beautiful. Thanks to everyone who helped set up, judge and to everyone for coming out to play.
Our next comp is at Badlands Jan. 10th.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I'll try to get scores up ASAP
