A.S.T.R. Presents the first ever Scale Nationals event in the state of Arizona.

This years event will be held April 1st, thru 3rd @ Prescott Arizona's beautiful Watson Lake Park & campground, Home to the AZ Summer Shootout.

Host Hotel is Days Inn Chino Valley 688 Fletcher Court, Chino Valley, AZ 86323 PH: 928-636-0311
Mention "Copper State Scale Nationals" when making reservations.
I have reserved 20 double rooms and 10 kings for the event and there are limited roll away's available.
Double rates are $80.03 tax included and Kings are $85.74 when mentioning the event.

Host campground is Watson lake Park campground. I have reserved 13 spots right up against the rocks for the event. Sites are $15 per night and are dry sites (no electric, no water). There is a bathroom and showers just across the road from the spots near the parking lot. If you would like to reserve a spot please let me know in advance via pm and we can work out the details.


Entry Fee's:
Class 1,2,3 pricing is $45 per class (includes Raffle)
G6 - 1.9 & 2.2 $20 (No Raffle).
TTC - $40 Due at Concourse after vote in (No Raffle)
Event T-shirt $12

Keeping with the intent of the Scale Nationals event all rigs must be scale in appearance. Bodies must be painted and accessories must be realistic in nature.

Itinerary:
We will be running 5 courses per class with a 7 minute run time (1,2,3), no finals courses.

Friday: Tech inspection 7:30am ( Judges meeting at 8am ) followed by drivers meeting at 8:30.
Class 1 courses open at 8:45. Once class 1 is complete we will break for lunch. At approx. 1pm we will start Class 3.
After Class 3 is complete we will meet back at the hotel, clean up your rigs and meet in the banquet hall for concourse 6:30pm.

Saturday: Tech inspection 7:30am, drivers meeting at 8:30.
Class 2 course will open at 8:45am, we will break for lunch once Class 2 is over (about an hour) and then get ready for the "King of the Dells" G6.
After the G6 we will meet for a fun night of awards and raffle prizes.

Sunday: TTC drivers meeting at 8am, event starts no later then 9am, should run until 3-4pm
TTC awards
TTC will consist of:
Mini Rubicon
Sled Pull
Hill Climb
Tank Trap
Mud Bog

wish I could make it but the kid is due the week before and family comes before toy trucks for me.
 
I'll be there for sure! Never been to Arizona, can't wait. April 1st is going to come up really fast, you guys better get your stuff built! Ill have the EB ready by then.
 
I've been very excited about going to this event ever since SWSC. Unfortunatly the kids are on Spring Break that weekend so it's looking like I'll be in Maui instead. :x:cry::)8)

I'm definitly bummed about not being there. I was looking forward to helping you guys out on this one, and I'm sure Kevin will have you covered on the spotting! It's going to be a great family trip, and speaking of family I hope Brooke is doing well! "thumbsup"
