I hope this is the right place. And I am not wanting to argue like last year. LOL

But i am still 8oz under legal weight limit. My poor mini shock springs will not take 8 more oz of weight. No I am not buying shocks. I have a hard body and a wood bed for Petes sake.

Now we can't use knuckle weights. So i really have to run 8oz of weight in my tires? LOL

A stock scx10 with a small battery weighs less than 5lbs.

Anyways still wanting to compete in trail class.

I suppose I could run 2.5 oz per wheel in the front and 1.5oz in the rear.

But i really feal the weight thing is not needed in a trail class. It should be legal with class 2 scale rigs.

I assume since there is 4ws that my xr mod is legal?

Anyways thanks.

The existing trail class rules will keep the 5lb limit since the class pits a variety of stock rigs against each other, it evens out the capabilities and doesn't make the smallest rigs a clear advantage. I'm in process of creating an Open Trail class right now that has no weight limit and is not defined from stock rigs. Your truck will be just fine, I can tell by looking at it.

Sounds awesome john. I can add the lead in the wheels. And if I can UN my class 3 tuber in the open class then I am in there! I just don't want to have to alter trucks.. it's a pain.

Thanks!
