NOT READY WORK IN PROGRESS
I want to thank everyone for attended this years National!
In my opinion it was a VERY successful event.
We had more Sponsors in attendance, more drivers through more gates, and more international drivers than every before.
The courses were challenging, but not totally insane.
Futaba/Duratrax Course.........6 drivers completed 29.1 Average Score
Crawler Innovations Course...42 drivers completed 5.9 Average Score
BilletWorks Course.................0 drivers completed 30.8 Average Score
Krawler Koncepts Course.......53 drivers completed -8.3 Average Score
RowdyRacing Course.............56 drivers completed -4.0 Average Score
Team Brood Course...............25 drivers completed 19.8 Average Score
Total 6 Course Average.........73.43 (Not Including Finals) 12.2 per Course
This years Nationals was also the first to run under the lights. It wasn't perfect, but I believe it was successful enough with some additional tweaking future events will be ran under lights again.
I would like give special acknowledgement that made this years event a success.
Chicklet THANK YOU VERY MUCH. She put together almost every pre-comp admin detail you can think of...drivers lists, drivers packets, google doc updates, scoresheet packets.....it goes on and on. She also was in contact with 90% of the Sponsors...so if you won something you should thank her.
Destroyer THANK YOU VERY MUCH. He was the go to guy once we hit the mountain. He set up tables, tents, and the camper. He entered every single score for all 4 days, and to date has had zero score complaints or corrections. He picked up scoresheets, pick up trash, and picked up the course. Virtually anything that need to be done on comp day he probably did. He also loaned his workhorse and truck for event usage "thumbsup".
Helhedded and Szczerba 2.2s was a huge success among the drivers I talked to. With out you this class would not have been possible at Nationals, and you guys definitely contributed to the classes future in the USRCCA.
Grandmas Boy The usage of your PA/Sound System was a life saver...literally....my voice was gone by the end of the weekend. Also Judged 2.2 pro, 2.2 Pro Finals, and 1.9
GreenCrawler You were just there to help with the small things when everyone else was too busy. "thumbsup" Also Judged 2.2 pro, 2.2 Pro Finals.
SpeedRacer19 You just handled things...you know how I like events to go, and you just handled it when necessary. Thanks!
DickyT Just handled the UGC Money Climb....no questions, no complaints...just took care of business.
