This is a Chevy LUV body built and given to me by my good friend Jeff, known here as bodean. It's such a unique body and it looks really cool. I still haven't found the look I want, but I know it's going to be a 1.5 rig. So far, I have modified the body to remove the boxy shape and round it more like the 1:1.

This is how it came.

It was built around a Bruiser chassis, but I opted for a spare Hilux chassis I had laying around to save money.

First thing I did was replace the old floor pan and rechrome the headlights.

The cab was a bit too square, so I narrowed it on both sides by 5mm.

I then put a bulge in the roof like the 1:1.

Then I narrowed the hood and modified the grill to match the curve of the hood.

Here I cut out the rough shape of the grill pieces and glued them together to sand and match them.

Wow, that is just awesome! I want one of these trucks. There is like 4 here in town just sitting in some yards. I might go and ask to buy one.

Definately subscribed.

That is a great looking body and should be a pretty fantastic build. The additions of styrene to fix some of the problem areas is looking nice.

Edit - just realized thie body is scratch built. That makes the thing even cooler. Will be looking forward to more pics on this one.

I thought the body looked a little familiar..:)

Enjoy, its one of a kind so far, and I really like what you have done with it.

Most of my bodies need finishing touches by someone else, because I get impatient and take shortcuts as you see.

I'll be watching this one. "thumbsup"

So cool! My first car was a 79 luv. I've always wanted another one. I have to have a luv body! I'm going to have to see if Bodean can help me out...
