My Bronco had been sitting in bits, in a box the last 9 months.
I managed to get 95% of it back together quickly just now and wanted to test a 12 turn, Surpass Hobby 3 slot 550 motor i had sitting about.

The truck is using a 9t pinion gear, and has underdrive gears in both axles to get the final drive as low as possible.

Although it can crawl and slow speed is okay, it's not for me. The throttle resolution is poor and even with such low gearing the motor lacks torque for any kind of finesse when under load.

Fine for more open trails for sure, but anything, or on rocks it's a nah.
Going to try a 21t 550 on 4s next as i think that'll work a lot nicer.
