$11 Lipo packs and $6 Lipo Balance Chargers!

I bought these for a Slow Stick (slow fly plane), and haven't used them. I think they will work for my 2.2, does anybody know about them? there are articles on the r/c aircraft sites with very good reviews.

They are OK packs, you do get what you pay for. Many times the cell connections will be shoddy, and the contruction isn't very consistent. The cells themselves are generally overrated on either capacity or discharge rate, and they don't hold as high of voltage under load as nicer cells.

I have no experience with that particular charger, but I expect it to be worth about $6. Minimal to no adjustment and a slow charge rate.

You could get two or three packs for the same price as one name brand pack, so for some people it would be worth it. Just depends on how much power you need out of them, and if you are willing to work on the pack if construction isn't up to snuff.

Will these packs work?

I'm running an Integy 50 turn V10 lathe motor. I will have to buy a Lipo compatible ESC, which I want to do anyway. I am thinking of running either a Tekin Rebel 2 ESC or a Castle Creations Mamba MAX.

Anybody out there know how well these packs will work?

I'm thinking I will get at least 45 minutes of run time with more power.

I am currently running a 2000 MAH NiMH pack, and I am getting 1 hour and 30 minute runs.

What rig are you running? one or two motors? servos?
Edit: sorry didn't read your last post, they should work with that motor without problems, as for the esc i would go with the mamba max, runtime maybe around 45 min depending on your rig's weight and throttle finger.

Thank you for the information. I placed the order for the Sidewinder ESC from your website.

I understand that YOU ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. If I had the money, I'd buy better quality packs. I already have 3 of these packs, and If they give me more power than the 2000 MAH Nimh, then I can run them until I get more cash for better packs.

These are physically the biggest packs I can run on my Zero the way I have it setup.

I have been running these 1450 30C/40C packs and have been very happy. Running a Berg with 40/45 turn handwounds.

I also have a couple of these, slightly chaper, 1500 20C/30C packs. No issues with them either.

Its not only you get what you pay for,safety needs to be taken into consideration.These Lipo companies/manufacturers of some of these packs will over rate the pack in discharge/C rating and or capacity.Not only will this kill these cheap packs prematurely,but they will take your rig with the cheap pack to boot.Get your tires wrapped up in a rock crevice and your pack is subjected to loads it was never intended to.Just a heads up,be safe and good luck.
