    Electronics Soldering temperatures... 60/40 vs. "lead free"... what to use?

    OK, For those of us that use a soldering station (versus a soldering gun or pencil/iron), what temps to use? For my typical 1/16" (~1.5mm) 60/40 (tin/lead) rosin core solder, ~360*F (~177*C) seems to work well (Wiki link shows 370*F or ~188*C for 60/40 solder). I also have Castle Creations...
