My CTS turned into a stroke???

In rush tonight after further evals, they say i wont get better after surgery..so i am here waiting for 4am and the last mri before surgery tomorrow afternoon

Sending continued positive thoughts and support.

X2 "thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

There are many peeps who were told they would never get better, but some did by continuing to work at it, reading, studying, sometimes with some alternative medicine thrown in. "thumbsup" Yes, it will prolly be a bumpy road, but I'm trying to help. I've met and known several peeps who surpassed what the doctors said was possible, obviously not all, but some yes. :)

Well, they got me into a chair today, waiting for the results is hard

That it is, it was difficult when Mom's been in the hospital and when I was in a couple weeks ago, it about drove me crazy and finally went and sat by the big window and looked outside, even if it was dreary out for the first full day of my stay.

Hang in there Bud, remember, "Mind over Matter". I'm a 70 year old cancer survivor and staying positive is the best tool I have in my "Toolbox" for fighting it! I know those are easy words for me to say to you right now but our mind and attitude are amazing healers! Try to find a great support community to help you! If you need to talk I'm only a PM away!
Thinking positive thoughts for your recovery! "thumbsup"

"mind over matter" that is the best skill to have. Got me through some rough patches and through basic training.

I wish you a smooth and speedy recovery. slow is smooth. smooth is fast.

Well I am stubborn and also stupid try to go to the bathroom by myself today and ended up with stitches in the forehead for the effort and getting yelled at by the nurses so now they have sensors on my bed if I move they go off I reckon I'll have to slow down a little bit. However the good news is the door jamb is okay

Them ain't stitches hoss, thems staples. Knocking your nugget against a hard surface isn't going to fix your brain. Try to avoid such action in the future.
