| HobbyTown indoor course
Big thanks goes to Tod at HobbyTown for getting us the foam and getting us a place to build the courses. Team Avery got started today. We are making these cubes so that we can move them around and change the courses. We want enough cubes to be able to build 2 courses. That way we can run 2 courses at one time. When we get done with those 2 , we change the gates alittle and run them backwards to give us 4 courses total for a comp day. All the small ramps will be able to be moved to any where on the cubes or we can put the cubes together to make a lot of different courses. Here's a few pics of what we got done today. Thanks ,Dave and Jarred |

That's awesome! I live just down the road in Centerton. I was at hobbytown yesterday, but didn't notice anything next door. Looked like there was something covering the windows maybe? -Tim |

This is the Hobbytown in Bentonville, AR. Northwest corner of the state. Which Mountain Home are you visiting? North part of the state, or central part? -Tim

Yes, there is black plastic on the windows on the (vacant) store next to HTUSA. On Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays they open it up and there's a 1/18th scale carpet oval, the next (vacant) store over from that has the crawler course foam.....you can see it through the windows.......

Got a little done yesterday. Didn't know what my mix design on the mud was going to do. Went back today to take a look and it looks great. Lots of traction. I'll get on to Tod about some more stuff to get this thing finished. it took us 2 hours to wire and mud this piece and a ramp. |

We got it all wired and ready for mud. Saturday will be mud day. Come on I know some you guys like to play in the mud. After we get these cubes done and start running on them, then we'll make a new one every so offen to keep it fresh. Here's some pics. These are a bunch of ramps to get on to the cubes. |
