Default Turtle's Millenium Falcon

She may not look like much, but she has it where it counts.
Here is what I am thinking so far:
AKRCC Deimos chassis
Integy 45T motors
hitec 985mg servo (steering)
Hitec hs-225 dig
Shack switches
duratrax evader shocks
mamba max
castle BEC
DX3R and sr3100 reciever
Fubar lockouts
CKRC BTA kit
ax-10 stubs
DNA 5 spoke wheel
Hot Bodies Rovers (soft)
I am also making some links for it.
Going to try some High clearance links for the rear, I only had 1/2" delrin sitting around so thats what I will use. Plus I happened to have just enough 3/8 delrin left for the front so thats going to stay straight. Jato rod ends and 8/32 rod to top it off.

"Deimos"

Dig mounted and esc

Everything shoved in the chassis.

I have a few more progress photos for tonight.
Thanks for checking it out.

Custom rear links. I have know Idea how much of a angle I put on them, Just bent them til it looked good.

Checking the placement for the battery on the chassis, but it eats me up inside knowing there are 5 ounces sitting that high.

Thanks
Ty

I take the photos when I do it, it just takes me a while to put them on my computer and sit down and actually edit them.

Anytime buddy, Thanks for all your work judging. You did great!
Well edited some more photos.
Here is alittle more information:
I limited my front shocks .5 inch and the rears .25 of a inch. I am trying out the 60/40 link set up. Right now it seems to be the ticket. I am sitting right at 3 inches belly clearance. I dropped 8 oz. of weight into each front wheel and no weight in the rear. My theory: with the rear motor, metal axle and metal wheels the rear end is heavy enough to flex all by itself.
In this photo you can see the skids I made to keep my steering and motors from hanging up. It definatley helps.

Full BTA, I have a couple rubbing issues on the tie rod at full turn, I might move it to the front to get rid of this issue, but I think I am going to try a little bit farther offset wheels.

I actually drove into this, lucky hang on the tires.

I got to hilight this body, I didn't even know it was possible to have such perfection in paint. Thanks again MikeyMikey!

Thanks guys
Ty

Thanks buddy.
I have a small update so the first comp of the series in the beginning of January I placed 33rd (I think). At our comp yesterday I got third, it is definatley a whole new animal. Hell I only got it done friday afternoon, I think with a little more practice and some more tuning she will kill it.
Thanks again guys
Ty

I know the feeling. I think mine will become a scaler.

I love this rig, it is a dream to drive and can only get better.
